Contemporary Handleless Outdoor Kitchen
This stunning outdoor space was designed by Kevin Stevens of Stevens Design Refurbishment & Build. The clients wanted to transform the outside space into an “entertaining haven” as they love to cook and spend time with friends and family – outside. Nestled under a timber bridging roof between two outbuildings is where you will find the outdoor kitchen hub.
The handle-less kitchen features door and drawer fronts in Neolith Iron Corten Satin with built up work surfaces in natural Absolute Black Granite. The granite is leathered to create an “ageing” theme; which can also be seen in the surrounding oak and floor tiles which are a light grey with rust/orange flecks.
The appliances included a Kamado Joe Big Joe III Grill, Alfa Forni Alegro pizza oven, Franke Mythos MYX 110-15 sink, Quooker Fusion Round tap in black and Blastcool Extremis XP1 fridge.
“We love the final kitchen and use it much more than we originally planned both in summer and right through our winter. We are really impressed by the process that was followed and how we were led through a structured design, sourcing and engineering process. We are thrilled with the quality of the outdoor kitchen and the job is just so much more than we ever imagined!” comments the homeowner.
This kitchen really showcases the bespoke nature and quality of a KönigOutdoor kitchen. Our design teams collaborated with Stevens Design to form details such as molding the worktop around the Kamado Joe grill. It also encouraged us to expand our offering as we had to create external drawer packs, a stone-faced handle-less channelling for the doors and drawers, as well as provide a safe solution for an external power socket in an island unit.
